We’ve been enjoying rainy days and cooler weather, but the flowers are starting to poke up through the ground and the trees are budding around here. There’s something about Spring and the hope of new life and a change of scene that makes me excited for Winter to go away. This Arizona girl is also secretly longing for sunshine and the long, hot days of summer, but I’ll celebrate Spring while it’s here.
With Easter right around the corner, I’m excited to share these darling printable Easter cards from Persnickety Prints. I love how they incorporate the fun of decorated eggs and bunnies, while still focusing on memories and the reasons we celebrate this joyful holiday.
I’ll definitely be keeping a set of these to journal this year’s holiday memories, but there are lots of other ways to use them as well. If you’re hosting Easter dinner at your home this year, you probably have a lot on your to do list but still want to whip up a cute invite for family and friends. You could easily pick your favorite designs and then simply write your dinner invite and details on the back. They’d also be perfect to use as gift tags, strung up as a banner in an entry way or across the mantel, journaling, scrapbooking, as place cards for Easter Sunday dinner, or even as a post dinner activity to take a few moments and reflect and journal about the holiday.
My kiddos are still fairly young; in fact, my oldest is just learning to write, but I think I’ll let her journal or draw what she’d like on the cards as we talk about the holiday and include them in her memory book.
If you get a chance to use these Easter Cards, I’d love to see what you do with them! Use the hashtag #Hallelujah and share your ideas and celebrate Christ with us.
