This darling Valentine coloring page would be the perfect addition to your Valentine’s Day classroom celebration or as a fun way to spend a few minutes with your kiddos on the weekend.

What You’ll Need to Get Started
Valentine’s Day is coming and there’s no reason to put off prepping to the last minute. I highly recommend downloading the print now – so you’re not running back to your computer the night before!
First you’ll want to grab the Valentine’s Day Coloring Page file below. All of my coloring sheets are black and white outlines and come in the standard 8.5″ x 11″ size. Although I do love oversized prints, I feel like everyone needs the option for a quick win and a fun activity that doesn’t take special paper sizes to accomplish.
Then, you’ll want to pick your favorite way to print it. We’ve printed off our coloring sheet files at home on plain ol’ copy paper, white cardstock and even on a heavier textured watercolor paper so the kids could pull out their brushes. Regardless, you’ll probably want to make a few extra copies… my kids love coloring with friends and I’ve even been convinced to sit down and color rather than clean the kitchen or fold a batch of laundry!

Other Great Ideas for the Valentine’s Coloring Page
So other than printing off the sheets and having a fun coloring activity with your kiddos – how do you use the page?
Often we like to do a fun dinner for our family on Valentine’s Day. Restaurants are often crowded and that means waiting so we opt to stay home. My kiddos color an extra sheet for me and then we cut it into strips to create napkin rings or place cards for our “fancy” dinner.
You can also color the pages ahead of time and use them as a background for a Valentine’s Day card that you’ll drop or send to someone in the mail. Add a few extra construction paper hearts or back a hand drawn picture with a doily before adhering to the front of your card and it’s something grandparents are sure to love.
This coloring page and a fresh set of colored pencils or crayons may be the perfect gift for a friend. Or you can print a bunch of sheets off and send them in for your child’s holiday classroom party or even at an event that you’re throwing in your own home. The individual sized prints are great for this – but you can really enhance the fun with these over-sized versions of the coloring page you can get in my shop.
